Our online tests use a secure testing platform, with online proctoring (test supervision). Scroll down for more information on how we schedule tests and which tests are available online or in person. As a result, some test dates or available seats shown below may have changed. Your driving examiner will discuss the results of your test at the testing centre at the end of your test. The length of the test will depend on the licence code you are applying for. Saturday tests are available to help reduce driving test wait times in areas of high demand.

If you don’t provide enough notice to change or cancel your test, you will lose the fee you have paid and will need to pay a new fee when you re-book. Fees

If these conditions don’t apply to you, you can take the DKT online. You can make a booking to take the Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) in-person at a Service NSW Centre. Take the online test as many times as you need for the one test fee. Most of our tests are delivered online only to allow for equitable access for test candidates.

Our records show there may already be service at this address. You can book to resit your practical driving test before the cooling-off period has ended. You will have to apply for a Queensland learner licence if you need to practise driving before taking your next test.

Book your test

These practice tests are run on the test platform, so you can get familiar with the system before your test day. When you book your test date, NAATI will include a link to a practice test in your test confirmation email. Candidates should be aware that organisations offering training do not have unique information about the test. NAATI sets the test and is the authority best online casinos which issues the result. NAATI is aware that some organisations offer training or courses claiming to prepare people for the NAATI CCL test.

If you’ve passed the test in DKT online, you do not need to make a booking to go to a service centre and apply for your licence. Due to the high interest in the Work and Holiday visa program in some high demand countries​​​, the department has paused application lodgement. This may happen when the cap is nearly filled or to spread out visa application lodgements throughout the program year. You will receive feedback from examiners which will help you determine your readiness for the actual test. You will need to pay the test fee when you select your test date.
